The Fall

well yesterday I decided to go off the porch in the rain , to look at our new riding tractor, (it is so nice) and when it rains, our steps are like slimy (I dont know why) but it's worse than ice. Anywho, I decided to fall as hard as I could. I am brusied in my neck, my back and ribs, my arm, my rear, and my leg. I can tell you that I don't bruise I don't remember ever (except for 1 time) and I have some brusing, but just around my arm. I'm tough. I am on other hand  sore , stiff and in some pain. Now my husband won't leg me go off the steps ever again if it's even the slightest bit damp. So I'm a prisoner in my own home            So there was my day, laying on the couch trying to recover. I even forgot to watch ice truckers yesterday...I am so upset.   I love ice truckers.......

Well any way that is all the news I have for now. I hope you all feel bad for me  Just kidding. I am a tough cookie. I'm fine...........

Okay so now here is a tip for the day (Bible study tip that is) ................ please do download one of the free online bibles to your desktop. this is so easy and not only can you read the bible online at anytime, you can also do a study easier, the bible is left open and is very easy to search for things at your fingertips. Always good when someone needs your help in locating a scripture, asks a question and you can give scripture to back up an answer you may give and also to find scripture to encourage someone.. I use this all the time for test you may want or need to take, and it is the best help you could have around. Very handy indeed

God Bless and hugs to you all

Short Post

Hello  everyone, I'm making a short post today. We are in the middle of a T-storm and I will be shutting down my computer here in a minute or 2.

I just wanted to congratulate those at life in a shoe, for the newet member of the family. a beautiful little girl. (9 kids  &  8 are girls ~ poor little fellow * all by himself)

My new riding tractor should be delivered today, My husband is all excited. I got it for him for father's day and yes it's a little late, but hey better late than never.

As promised each day I'll leave you with something and today I'm leaving you with a prayer   ***   Lord we thank you for all the Blessings you give to us each day. For family food and health, for rain and sunshine. We thank you for watching over us, providing for us and protecting us each day. In your hands we place our lives and ask that your will be done. Bless those who stop by and keep them in your watchful eye, In Jesus Name, Amen.

Finally a new post

Well it has been a while, but finally here is a post.

My son, daughter and I went to west virginia and did a little shopping. We went to walmart, and had a fish at mcdonald's and a blizzard and DQ.. We searched around to see what there was to do and found a few things there we don't have at home. They have an apple festival coming up soon and hopefully we can go to that (my mom and sister may also go)    Next week we hope to go to New Philly Ohio and shop there for something new. It should be fun. We will either go to Denny's or to a pizza parlor for eats.

I have been spending a lot of time at GodTube and watching the video's and praying at the prayer wall. I have also been spending alot of time at OurPrayer site to pray for others (I'm a volunteer prayer warrior there)

I hope to get to work on my website some this coming few weeks, as I feel I have neglected it somewhat. I hope you all have had a chance to visit the updates I have made on it. I think it looks a lot better now. I hope you think so as well.

The weather here has been stormy and rains alot. we did have a day where we had hail for about 25 minutes the size of softballs. It was really a site to see and I'm sure glad there was no damage to our home or cars.   I'm just so thankful that we haven't been in the areas that have gotten all the floods. I sure feel so bad for them and prayers go out to all of them.

Well I hope and pray all of you are well and safe. I pray for you always. Please feel free to leave me a message or email me to say hi. May God Be with you all.

As promised here is a study tip for you.  (1.) use a good study bible ( 2.) Use An exhaustive concordance  (3.) have a bible dictionary and notebook on hand ...........{A.} you may either studyby book {B.} By Word  {C.} by chapter {or D.} by Person (moses-Abraham etc...)

Hot Hot Days

Well the days sure have been hot here in Ohio. 95 and up. Wow! Beautiful days though. I love sunshine and we need it, cause lately we've had a lot of rain , so the last couple days of sun and heat is a nice  change.

Well I have been busy . I have been doing alot of reading, fixing up my websites, doing a lot of praying for those who send in their prayer request, and tending all the animals on my farm.

I have also been trying to get my bookstore out there to bring shoppers around and even my page of affiliates where everyone can shop for gifts and things, and I will still make a small amount of money. I do this as my means of living and am grateful to those who shop my little stores to keep me going. What a blessing you all are. I always keep in mind the scriptures from Habakkuk 3:17-19 and I keep going.

My husband is still looking for work so I ask for your prayers in this matter and thank you in advance for keeping me in your prayers.

2 john  1:3     Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. {{ May God Bless all of you }} Keeping you all in my prayers and hoping you will keep me in yours. Hugs

My book store

Hi again to all my visitors. I have been busy this week , adding pages to my website, and getting my store ready. I have a book store on my website now and I'm hoping to do well with it. It will be my first try and I hope you will all come by for a browse around it.

I have been praying for the prayer request that I have been getting and that also keeps me busy. But it is a fulfilling thing to do.

The weather here has been in the high 90's and the humidity unbearable at times. But we have been getting through it. We have also put our air conditioners in once again.

Well enough for now . I will leave you with this,

The meaning of the words in the
song "12 Days of Christmas"

From 1558 until 1829, Roman Catholics in England were not allowed to practice their faith openly. Someone during that era wrote this carol as a catechism song for young Catholics.  It has two levels of meaning; the surface meaning, plus a hidden meaning known only to members of their church. Each element in the carol has a code word for a religious reality, which the children could remember.
-
The partridge in a pear tree was Jesus Christ.
-
Two turtle doves were the Old and New Testaments.
-
Three French hens stood for faith, hope and love.
-
The four calling birds were the four gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.
-
The Five golden rings recalled the Torah or Law, the first five books of the Old Testament.
-
The six geese a-laying stood for the six days of creation.
-
Seven swans a-swimming represented the sevenfold gifts of the Holy Spirit; - Prophesy, Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Contribution. Leadership, and Mercy.
-
The eight maids a-milking were the eight beatitudes.
-
Nine ladies dancing were the nine fruits of the Holy Spirit: Love, Joy, Peace,  Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control.
-
The ten lords a-leaping were the Ten Commandments.
-
Eleven pipers piping stood for the eleven faithful disciples.
-
Twelve drummers drumming symbolized the twelve points of belief in the Apostles' Creed.

Praying for the needs of others

Have you ever prayed for the needs of others? Even those you don't know? Isn't it a wonderful feeling? I have a prayer ministry (Footsteps of Hope)  and that is what I do. But I have also joined another prayer ministry that I am privleged to pray for others there as well. It gives you joy and happiness, no non-christian could possible understand. I have been called to be a prayer warrior and I am so grateful for this opportunity that God has given me.

As promised I am writing a scripture, inspirational message or meaningful thought in each posting.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade - kept in heaven for you" (1 Peter 1:3-4)

Do you wonder what  God's view  is of us ~meditate on these scriptures   below and find out .

News

Hello everyone, As you all know I have not been on for a little while and I do apologize. I have been keeping myself busy. I have 7 new kittens, their names are abby, allie, andy, snoopy, charlie brown, wilma and fred. So adorable. I have taken one of my other cats to the vet for a bad eye injury.

I have added a few new pages to my website, one of which is a page where I have listed my affiliates programs. these are mostly books but there is other things you can get from there. I figured since my husband isn't working I would try selling a few things online. If you get the chance to do so , please check out the newest pages I have added. I have also updated the look of my site. I think it looks really so much better.

My niece has had to have surgery on her back she is just 16. Say A prayer for her healing please.

I have been studying the Bible and reading alot of devotinals, trying to learn as much as I can and get a deeper relationship with the Lord.

well I will leave you with a few scriptures that I think defines  what a good christian's attitude should be.

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Habakkuk 3: 17-19

Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls.

Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

The Lord God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet , and he will make me to walk upon mine high places.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Isn't this the greatest verse.? It tells of such love for the Lord, such trust and what faith he has. I wish we all were like habakkuk

I have applied to be in the Christian women blogroll as you may have seen at the top of the page and I'm waiting to hear back from them if I'm in or not This will be great for me to be in. Busy day

Hello everyone, I hope you've had a wonderful day.                     My day was busy. I had to go and get all new tires for my car. I had been having trouble with them leaking air and always having to find a place to try and get some air for them and around here , that' not always easy. And then I had to pay for the air, which in my book is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard of.~~So then next I had to go grocery shopping which takes me forever it seems. I loaded up so I won't have to go back to soon. You know I hate shopping and the gas prices are 4 dollars here. Insane. ~~So then I stop to get gas (I'm out of cash) so I'm going to pay with credit card and {guess what} they won't take anything but cash! What?, in this day and age? I don't get it...~~So then I get home have to unload a month's worth of groceries and put them away (as you can tell) this is a chore for me. ~~  So then I need to get the family dinner. It's a good thing I had my roast in the crockpot already, cause it was done and all I had to do was make the sides.~~Then I had to feed all the animals,no small chore around here on the farm.

{Now speaking of my shopping-Get this} Praising God Here ~~~

I went to the grocery store yesterday only after spending money (way to much ) on new tires my car really needed, so in order to pay for the tires which were more than I expected I had to dip into my grocery money.
So as I said I'm shopping and lost count of what I had in my buggy with no way to figure out what I had so far, way to much in the buggy to  start over. Now I feed a family of 5 -with my husband not working so $157.68 for the month (with cats, dogs, rabbits,& a pig) isn't easy. I just whispered (not really praying) Oh God Please let me have enough to pay for this .
So when I get to the checkout she totals the bill to $157.60. I have 8 cents left over.
Praise God  - Is he not an awesome God or what?

Well anyway I have started printing off coupons to try and save money. I'm hoping it will help at least some. There are alot of places online that give you the opportunity to print them out. Makes it nice. I'm glad I have a good printer , cause I'll be printing.

Last my daughter gave me a movie to watch and I had to sit for 2 hours and watch a horror movie. And it's night so I'll have nightmares! I'm a frady cat...

Well I 'm signing off as it is 11:00 and I need my sleep.

Good night all. Have a wonderful night and God Bless
